10 Tips for Residential

Always have someone answering your phone.

Always give a face-to-face sales presentation first.
3.
Make your presentation simple and direct yet detail all the
things you're going to do for the customer on your estimate
form.
4.
Show up on time and call if you're going to be late. Always
give yourself one hour of flex-time for each appointment (i.e.
tell them you'll be there between 10 and 11 a.m., etc.).
5.
Make sure you deliver exactly what you outlined in your sales
presentation and your customers' perception is the same as
"your standard job."
6.
Always check with the customer in the middle of the
job to make sure you're getting good feedback. Communication
is the key.
7.
Always do a final inspection with the customer at the end
of the job.

10-point check list to make certain everything is completed:
1.
Move all furniture back inside.
2. Restore all window dressings, curtains, blinds, shades
to their original position.
3. Make sure all screens are on and latched.
4. Pick up all tools, buckets, and rags inside and out.
5. Do a final check around for equipment inside and out.
6. Do a final inspection with customer.
7. Close and lock all gates.
8. Thank the customer for their business and confirm their
next appointment,.
9. Check all hose hook-ups and make sure they are reconnected.
10. Check to see if all ladders are properly secured to
your vehicle.

Be sure to mention your additional services such as blind
cleaning, screen repair, etc

Always maintain a professional image in your presentation,
your operations your dress, and your manners. Your attitude
will always reflect in your job.
